Christmas and Epiphany at St. Aidan’s
A Handle on Handel’s Messiah: A Podcast
Our community at St. Aidan’s is preparing for a rare and joyful offering: a performance of Handel’s Messiah in Spanish on the Fourth Sunday of Easter, April 26. This limited series podcast accompanies that journey.
In each episode, we will explore the Scripture that shaped Messiah, the musical interpretations that illuminate them, and the theological reflections they inspire. And then, as always, we will turn to prayer.
Whether you are singing with us, studying alongside us, listening from afar, or simply drawn to the beauty and comfort of this music, my hope is that this series enriches the way you hear and pray with Messiah.
Episodes will be listed below as they are released on a weekly basis, with five episodes scheduled to be released this Advent. The first two are already available! You can also visit the podcast webpage here.
Follow up conversation in community

Christmas Generosity
As we prepare our hearts for Christ’s birth, we also prepare to bless our neighbors. All offering plate donations (including online PLATE gifts) this Christmas will be shared with two local communities that have suffered fires (Nederland) and floods (St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Pagosa Springs). Please be generous with those in need for the long haul of recovery.
