Deeper with the Saints Fall 2026
You are invited to go deeper this Fall with St. Aidan’s, with the saints of the church.
Every member of St. Aidan’s is invited to go deeper using the lives of the saints as companions in holiness. So often, we see the saints of the church superheros (and superheroines) of faithfulness that we can’t measure up to.
However, the saints are people like us, in every generation of the church, practicing their faith and going deeper with God.
Starting September 20, you’re invited to find a saint, and take some time to learn about that saint’s life and practices. Opportunities to share about “your” saint will pop up during the fall, in sermons, coffee hour, dinner groups, and other ways.
We are starting with a set of 100 saints, chosen from the resource called Lesser Feasts and Fasts 2022. Each card has some information about your saint, and you’re invited to do more research as you are able.
On the back of each saint card are some reflection questions (see below) to start thinking about connections between you and your saint, across the centuries and circumstances.
