As people of God who are called to serve God, everyone who is in the church has a role and a ministry. We are ALL called to be His hands and feet in the world, and to minister to friend and stranger alike. Our primary mission is to serve God in and alongside the students, faculty and staff of the University of Colorado. We also believe that we cannot full live into the Gospel without also serving those in need in Boulder and throughout the world.
To find more about ministries, within the household of the church and in the world, the best thing to do is to worship and to listen and to get to know some of us to learn about what those ministries are. Look for ways to serve and volunteer—there’s almost always a sign up in the Parish Hall. Ask the Clergy about ways to serve and think about the gifts you have to offer—are you good at being behind the scenes (such as volunteering in the office or to answer phones or on the Altar Guild), or do you enjoy public speaking or leading worship or singing in the choir? Are you a financial whiz or would you prefer to weed a garden? All of these are ways to pitch in and to work for the kingdom of God.
